Every year the Riverside Lions club sponsor a magic show put on at the Princess Theatre. They ask businesses around Launceston to purchase tickets for the show, which are then given out to local disadvantaged kids and adults. During the week St Giles offered us some tickets to go, and last year the boys just loved it, so we thought we would go again.
Its a great night - the entertainment is world class and we always see heaps of people that we know there - lots of other kids with disabilities from Noah's school and also kids we know from the School Holiday Program.
Kobe decided that it was way too loud for him and wasn't keen at all. I ended up taking him out into the foyer where he was much happier chatting to anyone and everyone that would talk to him. At intermission Aaron and I swapped over.
Jay was oohing and aahing during all the illusions. They were pretty incredible. Harri actually got a bit scared in some of them.
I don't really consider Noah to be disadvantaged, but it's nice to know that there are so many people and groups out there willing to do so much for others.
OK Blogger Queen - enough of the red cordial! Are you trying to break the Guiness Book of Records record for most posts in 24 hours???
