Old school friends

After the gym today Harri and I met up with some friends that I went to college with (years 11 and 12) for lunch . Lynne, Bec and I catch up quite regularly, but I hadn't seen Fiona since we left college - 16 years ago! Time sure does go fast.

At Don College we had a big group of friends that started as two groups- the 'Deloraine girls' and the 'Ulverstone girls'. My cousin Penny had a group of friends that she grew up with in Ulverstone and I had a group of friends from Deloraine, and we just all got to know each other and hung out together for the next two years. It is nice to still be in touch with people and to hear what is going on in their lives.

Fiona drove up from Burnie with her little girl Bonnie, who is also the same age as Harri and very cute. The funniest thing is that all four of us are pregnant! Bec is due in February, Fiona is due to have her third in March, Lynne is due in April with her second one and I am lucky last one due.

We met at Esk Cafe which is in the Museum at Inveresk. Harri decided he didn't want any sandwiches but thought the carrot cake looked pretty good.

After lunch Harri and Bonnie had a nice time playing together.
