Gillian's 50th

Tonight we had a surprise progressive dinner, for Gillian's 50th. I had singing practice for our Christmas play first, so I arrived a little late for first course at Jasmin's. Gillian answered the door and was very happy to see me. I made it just in time for some yummy chicken soup. Gillian thought she was having a quiet tea at Jasmine's on her own, but I was told that she was very surprised and happy when everyone turned up.

After soup at Jasmin's we went to Geraldine's for main course. It was such a lovely night so we ate outside. There was lots of yummy food and it was great to catch up with everyone.

We then headed to the Polley's for dessert. Clare made a beautiful raspberry cheesecake.

Jasmin organised for everyone to do a scrapbook page for a special album that was presented to Gillian. I am yet to do mine, but promised Gillian that I would do her a page. There were lots of tears while she looked through it.

It was a really lovely night, and it was great that we could all get together for such a special occasion.
