Our little ray of sunshine

Thank goodness that over four years ago I had that nagging feeling to have another baby and I listened to it. I really wasn't planning on having any more kids after we had Harri, but I couldn't deny the feelings that I had, that someone was missing and we needed to have another baby.

Kobe brings a smile to my face every single day, even on the day of Aaron's funeral.  Who could resist his cute little face as they walked through the door. I'm sure he made many people smile.

He insisted on wearing his smiley face tie, which I'm sure Aaron would've loved.

He was so cute saying 'here he goes! Going down, down, down, down, down! Now he's in Heaven!' as the casket was lowered into the ground.

Only Kobe can make everyone laugh by trying to make me into a rockstar while we are standing around Noah's grave.

Love you Kobes.  I'm so glad that we have you and I'm sure you were sent to us for a reason - to make us smile every single day. It's hard hearing you cry and say 'me miss my Daddy and Noah so much' but I know that Daddy would be so happy that you are making us all laugh every day, even though we are so sad.

  2. Everytime I read what Kobe said at the funeral I smile. He is so gorgeous. I get the feeling that to him Heaven is not very far away and I don't think it is either. What a blessing to have someone to make you smile. Beautiful photos.

  5. Isn't it wonderful how the very young children express both their joy and their sorrow so freely? I'm sure it is healing, and we can all take a lesson from them.

I'm glad that this cute little guy makes the family smile.

  9. I know exactly what you mean Lisa..My youngest William was just 6 when we lost his Dad...William has been the one that has kept me going on a number of days...When his little body sneeks into bed with me at night and cuddles up close I know that I will be alright. I have to for him and the other children, William was MY gift from God as Kobe is yours...

  13. He IS such a blessing. I was just talking to April yesterday about Mitchell and how he reminds me SO much of Kobe - he's the comic relief. You should ask her some of the things that HE has said since losing Caleb. Love you!!!
