Our weekend

This is pretty much what our weekend has consisted of :( Noah is miserable and therefore so is everyone else.

Aaron even had to take him home from church today about half an hour after it started as he started yelling and wasn't going to stop. He was so stiff we could hardly even put him back in his wheelchair to get him in the car to go home.

Aaron came back to pick the boys and I up at 4pm and Aaron looked very stressed! Noah was in the back as stiff as a board, yelling his head off. I think Aaron probably wishes he was back to school tomorrow, rather than having the day off for the long weekend. I keep reminding him (as wives do!) that I have had it ALL week, plus I was sick AND pregnant too! :)

We go back to his paediatrician on Friday (at the moment we are going once a fortnight) and hopefully we will go and see Ellen (a naturopath) soon too and she will hopefully help sort him out. I feel at the moment there is something really going on with his tummy - like he has some bad tummy bug. It is hard to know whether he is having lots of seizures because he is stressed, or stressed because he is having seizures. The seizures are starting to settle down a little since starting back on the old 'new' med again though, which is good. Because he is still stressed though, I feel like there must be something else going on. If only he could talk or communicate to us in some way other than yelling what is wrong. Life would be a lot easier!

  1. I want this removed as soon as you read it so that there is no evidence of me saying this but Lisa, you are a saint and a legend and I am constantly impresessed with how you and Aaron cope with life and still raise a family with legendary boys. Despite my ribbing, I am seriously impressed in you both.

  3. Oh Lisa I cried too reading it and I agree wholeheartedly. You say that Noah touches the lives of many he meets and I agree......... but so does his mother. There are no words I can describe how absolutely amazing I think you are, how you don't pretend when life gets tough, how busy and unpredictable your schedule is but in the face of all that, you are a constance of love and patience and hardwork.
