It was 'a fantastic show'

According to Kobe, Jalen's drama school production tonight was 'a fantastic show'. After the show we were getting in the car and Kobe said 'you did a fantastic show down on the stage tonight Jay!'. It sounded so cute and very true.

He did such a great job as 'James' in 'James and the Giant Peach' and was so confident and funny.  It was strange seeing him up there doing such a great job as I couldn't imagine him being able to learn all those lines and act so well, but we were very proud.   We weren't able to take photos but are able to buy a disc of professional looking photos so I can post more later, but these dodgy ones are just from my phone.   This was Jay before their first matinee this morning.

We were so excited to see the show tonight.

Harri was so cute looking at me the whole time with a big grin on his face, like he was so proud of Jay.

Jay had quite the following with lots of friends coming to see him including Alison, Eleanor, Kate, Makayla, Louise, Miss W from school who was his teacher a couple of years ago and Noah's teacher this year, and also Di and her Mum and daughter.

Simone also brought her little trible along.  The kids were so good and seemed to really enjoy the show.

Jay's drama teacher has been saying such lovely things about him, and the head of the school told me that she is blown away by his talent at such a young age, and is excited for what he will be able to do in the future.  I'm so glad that he's found something that he is enjoying so much and getting so much out of.   It was so nice to see how happy and excited he was tonight after the show.  He got a huge cheer at the end when he had to do a bow by himself and I could tell how happy and proud he was.  It's such a nice thing to happen to him after the past six weeks or so.   He has two more shows tomorrow, and then a big break until he is back into it again next year.
