Every night we say family prayer before the boys go to bed. Without a doubt, every single night Kobe is the one who wants to say it. If one of the other boys have a turn, then there are lots of tears, so we always let Kobe say his prayer first, and then one of the other boys say another one after his.
Every night Kobe says the same thing 'thank you for the beautiful day today, remember Jesus and Daddy and Noah'. At the end of his prayer he reminds us that he said 'remember Jesus and Daddy and Noah' as he's so proud that he said it.
I don't think we'll ever forget Kobes, but I'm glad you are praying that we won't, just in case we ever do.
What a beautiful and precious little boy! Stay strong. xxxx
ReplyDeleteAll I can say is 'wow'
ReplyDeleteLachie always wants to say our prayers and he always says Uncle Aaron, Noah and the Kings and if one of us manages to get a turn he reminds us to remember Uncle Aaron Noah and the Kings. If only they knew the power of their prayers (though maybe they do and that is why they always want to say it) xxx
ReplyDeleteEvery night in bedtime prayer, Jonty says, "pweese bwess Kobe and his Daddy". Such powerful prayers, so simple but powerful. Kobe looks so earnest in the pic.
ReplyDeleteDear Lisa, I hope you and your family are doing ok. I think of you all from time to time, even though I don't know you, and smile at the wonderful strength you have, and also the way the blogging community has supported you. Much love to you.

Such a sweetie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a precious wee boy. I don't know you Lisa, but, I read your blog every day and often shed a tear. You just amaze me. I lost my father nearly 9 years ago after a long illness and my mother 3 years coming October very very suddenly and I miss them both so much every day. It must be so much worse loosing a child and husband, so, I feel I can't say I know how you feel, but, my prayers are with you and your dear boys. Where would we be if we didn't have the Lord to turn to?. God Bless
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet child he is.
