Wishing you were coming too

Tomorrow we are heading off for our annual break away at the beach.  We are really looking forward to it but it is so bittersweet as we are excited to get away, but know it is not going to be the same without having Noah with us.

We are having a harder week than usual this week, and there have been a lot of tears from all of us.  We hope that the week away will be a happy one and just the thing we need. My whole family plan on heading down as well later on and we look forward to showing them all the beautiful spots that we visit every year.

I have no doubt we will be thinking of Noah every single minute as we do things we would normally do with him with us. I plan on having a REAL break and not touching the blog until we get back so if it's quiet on here, it's all good :)

  1. I do love that family photo so very much. I hope the break away gives your mind, body and soul some rest. I know Noah will be with you the entire time, just not in the way we wish like every other year. He is prolly loving he can be there but without the sand. Love you guys. XX xxxx

  8. Reading over what a special time this get away was for you and your family, crying knowing how important to your family this time will be - I undersatnd we are not sent trials we don't have strength to bear, but right now I wish God didn't trust you so much. Lisa you are inspirational and, as one of your friends have already said, I am sure you will continue with the grace and integrity we know that you possess - just know we are all thinking, praying and caring for you in what ever way we can, the best we can. My love to you and the boys at this most horrendous time. May you find some comfort and the strength you need.

  14. I am so sorry to hear of Aaron's death. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the boys. How I long for the day when Jesus will take us home to live forever, and there will be no more death, sorrow or crying. May God wipe your tears, wrap you in His loving arms, and give you strength to support your dear boys. God bless.

  15. I am writing you on this day's post as a token of condolence as well as to insure you will come back to it and remember the wonderful moments preceding the 26th. My heart has lent its strength your way and you are one hell of a woman to hold it all together! Mothers are the glue to family and I know you will honor your family by remaining the compass of due north for your sweet boys. I have a soft spot for Harrison as he is my sons age. Bless you all!
