A week of relaxation

Just a warning, as I know people are going to be very worried if I don't post on my blog all week! ;) Tomorrow we are heading down to St Helen's for a week of relaxation.

St Giles have a holiday home that they rent out (very cheaply) to clients and is fully accessible to wheelchairs etc. It is just a little 'shack', but is right near the water on St George's Bay. This will be our third year in a row that we have rented it for a week during Summer. I went to book for next Summer a couple of weeks ago, but missed out! We were too late :(

It will be nice to get away from everything and to just be able to relax and unwind and spend every day on the beautiful beach at Binnalong Bay. The boys are also excited to do a spot of fishing off the jetty. Last year Jay caught his first fish and was sooooo excited. He is hoping that he may be catch another one this year.

Hopefully our drive there tomorrow is not as eventful as last year! We decided to take the 'scenic route' through Scottsdale - not a good move! The scenery was beautiful, but the roads were so windy that Jay ended up being car sick and we had to pull over while he sat on the side of the road crying 'this is the worst I have ever felt in my whole life!' (Jay can be very dramatic!).

Then about half an hour later Jay yells out in a mad panic 'where had Noah gone!?'. Whenever we go on big trips we put Noah in a car seat so we can lay his wheelchair down in the back of the van, and pack things on top of it. Harri had decided to unclip the seatbelt that was around the carseat and as we went around a corner, the carseat flipped right over - with Noah in it! When Jay yelled out I thought at first he must have flown out the window!!! (it cracks me up now, but at the time I had no idea what was going on!).

Will fill everyone in on the exciting (hopefully not on the trip down!) happenings when we get back.
