End of Season

Today we all headed out to watch Harri at at his last session of Auskick for the season.   He has absolutely loved being able to play footy every Saturday, and it has been worth the drive out to Evandale each week.

This morning it was another foggy start to the morning, but it wasn't really cold.  Noah has been settled for the past three days now, so we are hoping that means that the change in meds have worked to settle him down long term, and it's not just a good three days.

It started off foggy, but the sun started shining and Noah's face started to get a little burnt (a couple of his meds make him burn very easily), so we had to pull out the umbrella as some shade.  It's much nicer than using it for shade, than for rain - it's starting to feel like spring time already!

Most mornings it has been too cold to take Noah out, but Aaron has loved going with Harri each week.

Kobe wants to get out there with Harri and have a go too, so probably in a couple of years he will join him, but for now he has to sit and watch and enjoy some hot chocie and snacks to keep him happy.

Today for their last session a photographer from a country news paper came and took a group photo of the kids, and the lady who ran the sessions. We are excited to hear that it will be run on a Saturday again next year.

For their last game, they played against some of the guys from the Evandale Football Club Reserves, which the kids thought was great fun.  Harri was excited to kick the first goal.

Harri loves getting right into it, and also comes home filthy.

After their game they had a BBQ and then at half time during the Reserves gamethey were presented with their medals and certificates.

Harri was SO excited to get a medal.   It's been nice being involved in such a great program, and to give Harri the opportunity to do something that he loves so much.  He is already looking forward to next year.
