when we were building our house - the beautiful sunny windows.
Sunny windows just make me feel so happy. It's so nice to come home to such a warm house all the time. Even though it's the middle of winter we would have no idea that it's freezing outside, as our house is always so warm.
Kobe loves laying in the sun during the day watching a bit of ABC Kids. Look at his smoochable chubby cheeks! No wonder I want to kiss them all day long.
Looks like he needs some company on that carpet!!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought you were going to say having the boys at school, so you can have a clean and tidy house. It makes all the difference to have a warm house during winter, glad that the house is positioned so well. Our lounge room is like a sunroom with all the big windows, with a window on the north side and west side. The kids often strip off as they get so hot. I would rather be too hot than too cold any day!
ReplyDeleteDo you have double glazing? Cos I have a wall of north facing windows, and they radiate cold inside, and suck the heat out really badly. I have to keep the curtains pulled shut not to freeze, and I really miss the sunshine/well light at least!!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how hard and expensive it would be to turn my single glazed, into double glazed windows...
Yeah!!! Lisa we are the same here... i forget and go outside in short sleeves... and FREEZE... we have double glazing so it is even warmer...love those chubby cheeks...
ReplyDeleteHi Libby - no we don't have double glazing at all. It's still so warm compared to our old house though because of the insulation and the position of the sun and now a lovely warm heat pump.
ReplyDeletethe sun comes in our windows like that too :)
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Love Kobe's cheeks!!
Yep, those are very kissable cheeks!
ReplyDeleteI can feel the warmth from here- enjoy!
ahhhh nice!
ReplyDeleteI'm so envious. Our house is a huge popsical!
