Babies!

It seems that it's the month for babies as Steph just had Hugh, my friend Pip is due tomorrow and Simone is due to have her baby today.  We couldn't let Simone have her baby without getting together beforehand like we did with Kellie - any excuse really to catch up away from the gym, without kids distracting us :)  We knew we were cutting it fine by planning lunch the day before, but we thought we'd be pretty safe since she has gone over every time before.

Kell's daughter Erryn joined us for lunch. I'm sure she's getting excited to have another playmate at the gym very soon.

The boys from the gym joined us as well.  If only we had the same metabolism as Thomas and James (or were as young as them!) and didn't have to worry so much about what we ate.  Yesterday we didn't care and just enjoyed all the yummy food. We had a fun afternoon together - at one stage I was laughing so much I was crying.

Kell gave Simone some lovely presents for her little man.  It's hard to believe that she is actually going to have a baby in the next week or so!

The boys are naturals with kids, as Thomas has four younger siblings.  Erryn couldn't take her eyes off James. I'm sure she will be joining his Body Balance class as soon as she can stand up! ;)

We had a lovely few hours together filling in the boys on all the joys of , labour, childbirth and how hard it is to lose the weight after having children, and all the things us girls love to talk about.  We missed our crazy gym buddy Lisa, and were saying we should've skyped her and we could've all eaten together at the same time!

I'm sure Thomas will whip Simone into shape in his Body Attack class once she's had the baby (and a couple of days to rest up! ha ha!).  Last week Kell and I did some weight training with Thomas on the free weights and man he was tough on us! I could hardly move the next day... or the day after that, or the day after that!

I'm looking forward to meeting her little man very soon!
