Busy Days

It's that time of the year when there is so much on, and not enough time to fit it all in. Yesterday was one of those days - Jalen and Noah both had things on at school and Kobe and I wanted to be at two places at once.

Jay spent the day at Newstead College's 'Band Bash'. A day where school bands are invited to go along to workshops with tutors from Newstead College and they learn different techniques and skills that they can use in their band when performing. Jay had a fantastic day with his friends who are in a bush band with him. They got to have lots of fun playing their bush songs 'rock style' which he loved.

At the end of the day the parents were invited to come back for a concert where each band performed on stage. Kobe loved being able to hang out with Jay during the day.

Jay loves playing the band and they did a great job at their two songs 'Click go the Shears' and 'Blues Got Me Going'.

After the concert we raced off to pick up Noah to take him down to the Punchbowl where his class were walking from school, with their book buddy class. It was nice that Noah was wide awake the whole time and had lots of fun listening to everything going on around him.

Kobe was loving that we got to hang with Jay and Noah during the day - especially at the park!

Of course for Kobe the best thing at the park is the water fountain! It creates hours of entertainment!

I love this photo - it's so Kobe when he's excited.

Next week is going to be just as busy, but thank goodness there is only two weeks of school left before the summer holidays.

  2. Everything is looking so green and WARM over there...as we are enduring 22 degree weather here and SNOW. Yup. It snowed today. Enjoy some warmth for me. And I love the pictures...keep 'em coming.
