From Little Things, Big Things Grow

Today Harri, Kobe and I went to watch a photostory that Jalen's class made together. A month or two ago all the kids got to take home the school digital camera and had to take 10-15 photos of their families. They then had to choose two or three favourites to use in the class photostory. It has been entered in a competition and the theme of the class photostory was 'From little things, big things grow'. Throughout the clip was the song of the same name, by Paul Kelly. It had photos from babies to grandparents and the kids had voice overs on different photos such as 'grandparents are very smart and can teach us a lot', and 'parents keep us safe and love us no matter what'. It was really lovely and there were lots of tears from the parents.

Harri was so excited to come and spend some time with Jalen at school.

After we watched the clip (twice!), all the kids then showed their parents their individual photostory that they made using all the photos that they took. Harri was so excited to see it, especially as there were lots of photos on him on there.

Check out this funny photo. I'm not sure who has the worst attitude here - Kobe or Harri. Kobe just loves sticking out his tongue!

Jay then took us up to the school art gallery which is in the foyer. One of the photos he took was chosen to be displayed in the art gallery. He was very proud of it and it looked great. Pop has been a star lately!

Harri made himself at home and grabbed a book (we were in the library) and sat down with the boys for a read. He is hanging out for Kinder next year!
