Daddy in his Grave

Last week Kobe was playing with his playdough in the kitchen and called out for me to 'come and look!'.    I went in to see what all the fuss was about.

At first I couldn't tell what it was.

Then he said 'it's Daddy!! It's Daddy in his grave!'.

It was so cute, but so sad at the same time.

  3. Such heartbreak...I think he is processing it slowly though. It still just seems so surreal. I wish it weren't. Love you!

  5. That must have torn at your heart knowing how your little boy was feeling at this point. But how wonderful that he is able to express how he feels in his creation. You certainly have three wonderful sons.

  7. Lisa, I look forward everyday to reading your posts and being encouraged by your faith, your love of family and your ability to do the posts in spite of your losses. Certain no one needs to tell you that you are a wonderful mom and seem to be doing a great job raising your boys. I hope you are very proud of yourself and know that your two angels in heaven are watching over all of you. Like others, I cried when I saw the PlayDoh but at the same time I am happy that Kobe is able to express himself. God Bless you all.

  10. Looks like he's working through it the way kids do, through his play. And it's really quite beautiful, isn't it?

    But yes, so sad.
