Beach birthdays

In our family there are five birthdays in January - Eden's, Mum's, Eamon's, Alex Jnr and Linc's. Today we headed up to Ulverstone to meet the boys and to celebrate Linc's and Alex's 2nd and 4th birthdays. Nicki and Alex had hired out the Ulverstone waterslide for half an hour, so we had it all to ourselves which was heaps of fun, and meant we got lots of rides in. It was a beautiful day for it.

Afterwards we had party food and a play at the park across the road and the boys opened up their presents.

The weather was so beautiful so we headed across to the beach for a while.

It's really strange having so much 'free' time at the moment, and being able to do whatever we want, whenever we want to.  For years I had heard about the shop Reliquaire for years, but had never been there, so we decided to call in on the way home. It was amazing and the boys had a great time looking at all the treasures (especially the Star Wars stuff).  The whole time I kept thinking to myself that there was no wheelchair (or pram) access, but it was an incredible shop.

We had a lovely day also calling into visit Tayla at Ashgrove, and Makayla at Subway on the way home.

  2. I went to that shop with my sister once and I just loved it ... there is so much in there to look at ... I could spend forever in there just looking at all the gorgeous things. What a lovely day.
