NOAHvember

Just after Noah's funeral, a couple of Aaron's past (or maybe present?) students started up a couple of memorial Facebook pages for Noah. We were really touched by it, especially when we saw how many people had joined the pages within a day.

We felt though that we were the best ones to start up a page, as there was so much that we could post on it. We also wanted to have a bit more control over what was put on it, so a few days ago we started up a page to help others remember Noah, and as a place for us to post our feelings, thoughts, photos and videos about Noah.

We are blown away by how many people have joined the page since we started it a few days ago, but it's so touching to know that so many people care and want to know more about our beautiful son.

Last week Aaron decided that on his personal Facebook page, he was going to do 'NOAHvember' where he would post a new photo and video each day in November of Noah.  I suggested that we could do it on Noah's memorial page, which Aaron started doing today.

We have spent the last few days going through hours and hours of old home videos.  It is so obvious as we watch them how Noah's health deteriorated so much over the years.  I love seeing all the old videos of when he was a lot younger and was a lot more alert and aware, and able to do things that he couldn't do as the years went on.

I am so glad that we have so many photos and video over the past ten years, and I will put some of them up on my blog over time, but for now if you would like to check them out you can 'like' Noah's memorial page on Facebook and see which photos and video Aaron will be putting up every day.

Just click on the photo below to go to the page.

  3. Sometimes there are no words. It also broke my heart. I admire your attitude, how you try to process your loss. Thank you that you want to share with us your personal keepsake. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your great family. (Unfortunately I can not watch the video because this video which contains music from SME, not available in Germany. GEMA has not given the publishing rights thereto)
It's a pity, but I'm also looking forward to seeing more of your incredible son. He must be very proud of you.
