Day 5 - Living it up in the big room

Noah is continuing to get better, but yesterday was a very up and down day, with his SATS being okay, and then dropping a bit. It's so much nicer being in the big room with the big windows.

We are enjoying being able to look out the windows, even if the view is only the street and bushes (Noah's room is the one right in the corner on the left size).

Yesterday was Thomas' 1st birthday, so the three boys and I enjoyed spending a lovely few hours in the sun at City Park with him for his party (will blog about that more another time).

After having two nights at home, it was nice to get back up at the hospital and spend the night with Noah. I think the time in the sun did me good, as I started to feel a bit better by yesterday afternoon.

Fingers crossed that it's still only going to be a few more days before he gets off the oxygen totally and we can get home. Then we really WILL have a party!

  3. Love that picture of you and Noah - so sweet. :) When you were talking about the docs replacing his cath, is that the same thing as his feeding tube?
