Good Friday

Yesterday we had a lovely Good Friday get-together at Mum and Dad's for brunch. The only thing that could've made it better would be if Chrish was down from Sydney. During the week the boys were very excited when we told them we were going out to Grandma and Grandpa's. Straight away Harri said he wanted to ring up Uncle Eden to see if he would bring down his motorbike to ride. This time I thought I would have a go but wasn't really prepared with thongs and a scarf on!

It's still having trouble starting on its own so we had lots of fun push starting everyone after it would stall.

Kobe gets so excited when we tell him we are going out to Grandma and Grandpa's house. He even knows when we get to the turn off at the highway that we are almost there and starts pointing and smiling. He loves playing outside with his cousins and would stay outside the whole time if we let him.

After a lovely brunch the kids all went upstairs with Mum and watched a DVD about the death and ressurection of Christ while we all hid some eggs for a hunt. The kids were so cute coming down telling us about how 'the soldiers died Jesus' and were quite touched by it.

The kids had lots of fun collecting the eggs. At first Kobe didn't know what to do but soon caught on that if he ran really quick he could find an egg before anyone else could.

It's hard to believe that Mum and Dad now have eleven grandkids!

Lincoln is growing up so fast and is such a cutie. It's hard to believe he is already three months old!

It was nice to be with family on such a special day.

The word verification is "xesses" - excesses of Easter eggs maybe?

  2. Lovely photos Lee.
You have really captured the moments.
It is lovely to see all the kids loving being with their cousins.
I hope it continues, and they love spending as much time with each other as they get older.
You should have had some photos of the 'meltdowns' as well.
It was a lovely day but would have been all the better if Chrish had been here running around with his camera as well.
    Love Mum.
