Pizza and Pigs

This afternoon Kobe and I went out with Bec and Annie, to Pip's for a birthday lunch for Oliver. He turned 2 last Saturday. Pip and Ben have this great pizza oven out on their deck, and Pip made us some beautiful homemade pizzas for lunch.

Pip's Dad has a pig farm, where Oliver loves to go and help out , so of course there was no better choice than having a pig cake for his birthday.

Pip and Bec's friend Karen and her daughter, Molly also came. It's hard to believe that in three weeks time our baby will be turning one!! The year has flown.

  1. A pig cake - what a clever idea. Oliver - 2 already and Kobe nearly 1 - i can't wait to see his face when he has to blow out his birthday candle.

  2. Yummo! I love pizza! I make it on the grill all the time! It honestly tastes like a pizza made in one of those old brick ovens. When we make the pizzas we also do fruit pizzas at the same time....

Man now I'm gonna have to fire up the grill tomorrow for Pizza! LOL

Cute cute pig cake by the way.....IS your baby always so jolly?? Seems there is always a sparkly smile ;)

    Have a good one!

  3. Hi Trina - Kobe is a pretty easy going baby, but he does have his moments - usually just when he's tired, hungry or not feeling great though. We are very lucky.

  4. I had a laugh at the photo of Kobe and Oliver.
It looks like Kobe told him a joke, at he's not at all amused.
    Love Mum.

  6. Wow, I like the look of Pip's pizza oven (and her hair is pretty groovy too). That pig cake is great!
