Autumn
Aaron's school has this beautiful big tree that puts on a lovely show every Autumn. I happened to have my camera with me today when we picked him up and just had to take a photo of it, to remind me that despite us heading into winter, this time of year really is beautiful.

This is it!
Okay - I know I said I wouldn't blog anymore photos of the girls but I've finally finished photoshopping the ones that were worth doing, and just wanted to put a few more of my favourites up. Morgan took this cute photo of Makayla and Harri and I had fun photoshopping it.
It's been fun playing with them and I've definitely learnt how I like my photos to look and have picked a certain style that I like - nice and bright and colourful and natural looking.

I had a play with other things but I definitely have a style that I like now.

Now I'll have to go out and take more photos so I have more to play with! What a time waster! ;)

Easter Holidays
We love having a week off together for the Easter school holidays. So far we have done the usual - gone to the Aquatic Centre (a couple of times!), gone to the movies and today we went ten pin bowling. Before we left I asked the boys if they were ready to get their butts kicked again as I have won the last three times we have played. Of course there was all the usual talk 'I'm going to beat you this time', 'whatever Mum!' etc.
Aaron likes to talk himself up a lot and typed in his name as 'Awesome' instead of 'Aaron'. Poor old 'Awesome' wasn't having such a great game and was using his 'bad back' as his excuse.
Jalen has resigned himself to the fact that he is probably going to come last (even behind Kobe and Noah!) so he was pretty pumped when he got a strike.
Harri is a crack up the whole time, really getting into it and doing lots of fist pumps and 'Yeeeaaah!'.
Kobe was so cute really getting into it this time as well. He would watch the ball the whole way down and then at the end he would jump and down and say 'esssss!'.
Noah actually stayed awake....for at least half the game!
I fluked it again and won another game - must've been my great style! ;)
'Awesome' Aaron made a bit of a comeback at the end with a double strike, but it wasn't good enough to beat me. He was making all kinds of excuses....the girl in the next lane kept getting in the way and putting him off, his back was playing up, Kobe came up behind him and put him off. We will wait and see how he goes tomorrow when we have a rematch :)

Harri's Hawks Active Appearance
On Friday it was Harri's turn to be on the new Hawks TV show Hawks Active. The funniest thing is that they got Harri to say 'Liam Shiels' and Harri doesn't even have a clue who he is, even now! The guy asked us a few different questions so I wouldn't be surprised if they show Aaron or the boys talking again. I just wish they didn't film me on the side of Aaron!

Good Friday
Yesterday we had a lovely Good Friday get-together at Mum and Dad's for brunch. The only thing that could've made it better would be if Chrish was down from Sydney. During the week the boys were very excited when we told them we were going out to Grandma and Grandpa's. Straight away Harri said he wanted to ring up Uncle Eden to see if he would bring down his motorbike to ride. This time I thought I would have a go but wasn't really prepared with thongs and a scarf on!
It's still having trouble starting on its own so we had lots of fun push starting everyone after it would stall.
Kobe gets so excited when we tell him we are going out to Grandma and Grandpa's house. He even knows when we get to the turn off at the highway that we are almost there and starts pointing and smiling. He loves playing outside with his cousins and would stay outside the whole time if we let him.

After a lovely brunch the kids all went upstairs with Mum and watched a DVD about the death and ressurection of Christ while we all hid some eggs for a hunt. The kids were so cute coming down telling us about how 'the soldiers died Jesus' and were quite touched by it.
The kids had lots of fun collecting the eggs. At first Kobe didn't know what to do but soon caught on that if he ran really quick he could find an egg before anyone else could.

It's hard to believe that Mum and Dad now have eleven grandkids!
Lincoln is growing up so fast and is such a cutie. It's hard to believe he is already three months old!
It was nice to be with family on such a special day.

Last Ones
I could be editing the photos of the girls for weeks as I took so many photos of them, but these are the last ones I'm posting.
Fiona showed me how to do some stuff with textures on Monday which I'm not really sure about yet, but had a play anyway and tried to do something different. I'm personally not a fan of the look myself, but it is good to learn anyway.
Thought it was also time to do some black and white, although I'd much prefer the look with brighter colours.
